Campus to host Open House for transfer, returning adult, and graduate students

Students who attend will have their application fees waived and be eligible for other special scholarships and opportunities.

Kokomo, Ind. – What is your next stop? Indiana University Kokomo wants to show you the educational possibilities for returning transfer, graduate, and returning adult students at an Open House on Tuesday, March 2, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Wednesday, March 3, from noon to 2 p.m., in Alumni Hall, located in the Kelley Student Center.

Adults who are considering starting college, returning to their studies, transferring to complete a bachelor's degree or continuing for a master's degree are invited to attend.

IUK: Spring Semester Continues Enrollment Momentum

Kokomo, Ind.– Indiana University Kokomo's student enrollment for spring semester continues its upward momentum this academic year – with the highest fall-to-spring retention in nearly 15 years.

The number of students is up 11 percent compared to this time last year, from 2,510 to 2,788, while the number of credit hours being taken shows an increase of 12.3 percent. It was during the 1995-96 academic year when enrollment was at an all-time high of 2,804...
